Cheaponsale.com Reports China’s Cell Phone Use Surges To High

November 19th, 2009

China’s mobile communications business accounted for more than 60 percent of the total telecommunications industry income in the first nine months, a record high since the country started to collect such figures a decade ago, the industry regulator said Monday.

The portion of fixed line income fell 4 percentage points year on year to 28.2 percent from January to September, said the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

“The mobile substitution (of fixed line) will continue in the domestic market because of the lower and lower mobile rate and the development of 3G,” said Sandy Shen, a telecom analyst of Gartner Inc, a United States-based IT consulting firm.

In the period, China’s telecom industry posted revenue of 625.69 billion yuan (US$91.11 billion), a 3.1-percent rise annually, the ministry said. Mobile communications revenue accounted for 60.14 percent of the total income in the first nine months, compared with 55.58 percent a year ago, according to the ministry.

From this month, China Telcom users get free incoming calls, making the company the first telco to adopt a long-awaited one-way charge system for all customers. The two other telcos said yesterday they will follow suit but did not say when, though they have announced other discounts.

The average mobile communications cost is about 0.15 yuan a minute, close to fixed-line phone’s 0.10 to 0.12 yuan.

In Shanghai and Beijing, the mobile penetration rate has surpassed 100 percent by the end of last month, which means each citizen has one or more handsets on average, according to the ministry. In January, 3G licenses were issued to China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. Based on the third generation technology, users can access high-speed data services on their handsets.

China Mobile and China Unicom have launched mobile payment services in Shanghai. The handsets can be used as “mobile wallets” to pay public transport and World Expo tickets.

Why Is It Better To Access Information With Reverse Phone Lookup?

October 29th, 2009

A reverse telephone search is the process of finding people by telephone number. For those of you who are not aware of this service, it is very different from your traditional white pages or 411 request. It is more comprehensive in the the information that is revealed.

The differences between the phone book information and using a reverse lookup by telephone are several. The reverse phone lookup is more of a background search service than just a way to lookup someone’s phone number or address.

Benefits Of Searching By Phone Number Look-Up:

1. You will be able to locate information that is far beyond just a phone number and address. Information that can become available are address, name, and relatives.

2. You will be able to do a background check that includes personal information such as criminal history. This can really be helpful if you want to find out out whether someone living close to is dangerous or not.

3. You will have the ability to locate anyone who calls your phone or anyone from a phone bill. This feature can help you find out whose calling your children or spouse. This feature is great for catching a cheating spouse.

4. You get privileged information such as relatives, neighbors, and friends. This service can also be valuable to find numbers you do not recognize on your phone bills.

5. You get a access to a nationwide database that you can do unlimited searches through for a one time fee. Instead of paying for individual searches, you can pay a one time fee and perform unlimited searches.

The significant larger database with the variety of data available makes reverse phone lookup directories more of a people finder in the USA that a telephone directory.

Take advantage of what reverse telephone lookup directories can reveal and do a address search to find somebody right now! Click here to get your own unique version of this article with free reprint rights.

Discovering Individuals With A Reverse Cell Phone Trace

October 21st, 2009

It is difficult to run a reverse cell phone number search since most of the time there is no one company that provides a list of numbers for cellular phone users from the major carriers for free. Since mobile numbers are listed as private domains, the public has no access to it unless the number is given voluntarily. Big cellular companies are prohibited from producing any list of cellular numbers of their users.

These days looking up a cell phone number is easy if you know how. But millions of us do this the hard way every day. Unlike years past when you could simply open up a phone book and find your friends, today’s free directories provide almost no information about cellphone numbers. Maybe a carrier company or location, that’s it.

You don’t have to be a member of the law enforcement agencies these days to be able to use these powerful databases, you just simply need to need to use them. All you do is get hold of any suspicious numbers you have, go to one of the databases that hold cell phone numbers and input the number. You will either get a message telling you that there is information on the suspicious number, or you will get a message telling you there is no information.

It is an ideal way to locate information on a person, and private investigators have been using this service for years. When you first search out information on reverse phone searches, you will find two different options to choose from. They have limitless information on the many publicly listed phone numbers.

If you have already tried the free methods then your best bet for getting the information you need is to use a paid service. Paid services such as a reverse phone number look up tool cannot only just give you an address but other detailed information as well. The cost for these services are relatively cheap so there are no worries of expensive fees.

A reverse cell phone lookup directory is an easy way to find information about a number. By simply entering the suspicious number into the search box, you can easily get the answers you need. Name, address, cell phone provider and other personal information of the owner is readily available.

This kind of misuse is spiraling out of control, and needs to be slowed down, if not halted altogether. The question then is how is it possible to control this type of situation? Well, a reverse phone number directory is the best weapon of choice to combat this kind of behavior. And it also helps you find other sensitive information that can be used to prevent annoying situations such as harassing callers and call screening.

If a phone number is attached to a landline, then it’s usually fairly easy to find out the owner of that number. You can either try and get your hands on a reverse phone book, or you can simply Google it. In most cases you will be able to find the number after a simple search online, and failing that, there are dozens if not hundreds of reverse lookup services available.

Confirm the information by running checks on other similar sites or alternatively, run a quick check on the popular social networking sites. Validating results from various sources can ensure that that all details are correct. This is of critical importance especially when it is imperative that you get the identity of the correct person for official purposes.

The teaser information, such as the location and report availability is the only information that is “free.” Fortunately, the information that is contained in these reports is top notch, accurate, and delivered very quickly. The reports contain information such as the owner’s name, carrier information, specific location, and phone connection status among many other tidbits of information.

Before you try a reverse phone lookup service, make sure you do a free preliminary search at this reverse cell phone directory.

5 Reasons Why Apple’s App Store is Kicking Ass

October 16th, 2009

But how come this happened? Did Apple go and do something in specific — something they’re still doing — that keeps them so incredibly dominant? No one has managed to hit the quality control Apple has (but the Palm Pre has made a good effort). We’ve gathered together the 5 most likely reasons why.

#5: Apple’s road map is seriously good

There are several phone manufacturers who really have no sense of where their company is going (think of Motorola), and they are always stuck listening to the carriers, who drive the way phones get made. Apple stuck to a really solid roadmap, forcing their carriers to accept the phone on their own terms, and knowing they’d say yes because of how good it was.

#4: The Mac developer community is great

Since there is already an extremely healthy, motivated, and design-conscious community of developers out there doing work for OSX (and who have been working with macs for a long time), it means that apple’s development kits are very good, and there are already a lot of people who know how to write great software. A lot of these people are now working on the iPhone, too.

#3: The iPhone’s operating system is easily the best

This was actually the simplest, most obvious move of all: if you make the phone, and only make one of them, you can make the OS, too. Unlike all those other phone OS’es (including Google Android) that are supposed to run on dozens, if not hundreds of phones, the iPhone’s is perfectly designed to take advantage of that hardware, and the apps see an amazing jump in quality.

#2: Apple always likes a fight

A lot of people expected the iPhone to fail — the mobile market was simply massive, they said, full of established players who wouldn’t let Apple come in and do whatever they wanted. They continued to say this after the phone was released — basically until the app store exploded. No one is saying it anymore.

#1: When your standards are high up top, it trickles down

Hey, I’m not saying every single app in the store is wonderful, or even particularly well-designed, but when you’ve got the main company and its hardware at such a high aesthetic and design level, it automatically makes you — if, say, you’re a developer — try a whole lot harder. Apple keeps its standards up and we reap the benefits.

Should I Buy The iPhone 3GS?: A Full Review

October 16th, 2009

Apple’s iPhone 3GS is the latest release of Apple’s cherished smartphone, as usual packed
with even more features than the last version.

On the outside, the 3GS is identical to the 3G, apart from the small etchings on the back of the device. In this release, Apple has just focused on upgrading the 3GS internally.

One of the considerable changes to the 3GS is the speed; the 412MHz has been clocked up to 600MHz and the
128MB of RAM has been doubled to 256MB. The graphics chip has been supercharged. These upgrades lead to the 3GS loading things at double the speed of the iPhone 3G!

The storage space has also been upgraded on the 3GS. There is now a 32GB model available, making it more like a personal media player such as the iPod Touch.

The screen of the 3GS has been upgraded. It has been designed to resist the usual fingerprint marks that you make from everyday use of it. The effect is surprising, and the smears and kept to a minimum. This also means that there’s a clearer view on this phone.

As awaited by many Apple enthusiasts, the 3GS now finally has a better 3-megapixel camera and can now record
videos.

The 3GS is just loaded with features. Phoning and texting friends, taking pictures, recording video, surfing the net, checking emails, controlling your personal timetable, listening to music, watching movies, viewing pictures, and global orienteering are just some of the things that you can do with the 3GS.

Following some recent deals between Apple and mobile phone networks, the iPhone 3GS is available on many networks, such as O2 and Orange. It no longer holds its exclusivity in the UK. With all of these tariffs available, there will be one that’s suited to you.

The iPhone 3GS is one of the most feature-packed smartphones, in my opinion, on the market. Many of it’s features can’t be found on any other phone.

This all brings up the final question; should I buy the iPhone 3GS? As I would say with all Apple products, if you can afford one you should go and buy one, but if this is above your budget, you should probably get one of the alternatives to Apple products or maybe get an iPhone 3G, as they
now retail for very low prices.

Teens Are Using Cell Phones More And More

October 7th, 2009
by Stance Jackson

Cell phones are very different now than what they were just 3 to 5 years ago. They have become mp3 players, cameras, and even GPS devices as well as their primary use of being a telephone. These phones have mostly been targeted towards adults but now manufacturers are realizing that there is a huge market available for phones for kids as well.

Older teens have latched on to cell phones and texting has become a new way of life. If you are in high school now and dont have a cell phone, you are most certainly not in the right social circles. Teenagers are an impressive block of potential money spenders and cell phone manufacturers know that.

Cell phones for older teens might also have cameras, games, and even Internet access on them. However, the safest phones in the minds of their parents might be the ones that have a prepaid plan. This way the parents never have to worry about getting some outrageously high cell phone bill. Teenagers might be a bit more responsible than younger kids but, given a cell phone with no limitations, it sometimes can mean a very large bill.

Unlike phones for adults, there are not that many choices for real young children yet. The best kids cell phones for kids all have a couple of common features and then some cool designs so that the kids like them. Kids cell phones all have preprogrammed keys where the parents can input all the important numbers kids would have to call if they got in trouble.

Many of these phones come with prepaid plans that the parents love. The great thing about prepaid kids cell phones is that you, as a parent, don’t have to worry about your child racking up a huge phone bill. Many parents want their young children to have a cell phone for safety reasons but they fear what will happen if they give them a regular one. The prepaid aspect of a kids phone alleviates that fear and makes getting a cell phone for your child a much easier decision. Whether a cell phone is indeed a good thing for a child to have is a debate that many disagree about but having it prepaid is a good way to go if your child must have one.

The Most In Demand Apps For Your iPhone

October 5th, 2009
by Thom Yarborough

Every single day new apps are being added to the iTunes store and each is as tempting as the next. Hundreds of these apps are also free so you can simply download them without any problems whatsoever. Even the paid apps are priced quite reasonably which accounts for the popularity of these as well. But right from the time you have downloaded something and the next time you check into iTunes, chances are that something new would have been added to it. It’s difficult to keep abreast of the latest iPhone apps that are available, particularly the ones which are the most downloaded. But here’s an attempt.

Talking Puppy

Launch this app on your iPhone and surprise your family and friends when the cute puppy on your screen mimics someone in the room. This app makes your iPhone into a great center piece and definitely the focus of all attention. The puppy on the screen cannot talk anything on its own but is programmed to repeat whatever is said in front of it. There are numerous other characters also to draw interest, such as talking cat, snowman, monkey and camel to name a few.

Impossible

If you get this app on your iPhone, all you have to do is launch it, nothing more, and watch the magic unfurl! At the start of this app, you will be asked to pick a card from six cards, and then, the secret magician in your iPhone will guess the right answer by simply reading your mind through the screen! Okay okay that was a joke, but that’s really how it would look for innocent onlookers of the game!

iGlowStick

This app may not be all that much, but the visual effects you get along with it are undeniably fantastic. With the iGlowStick app, you get to choose the color of the glow stick that you would like; once you’ve taken your pick, you will have to break the stick with the usual iPhone methods, which then makes the glow stick fill up with light that can be spread around the screen with a mere shake. It’s as good as a flashlight though it definitely won’t blind the people around you!

iStudiez Pro

If you’re a student then you’re well aware of how much you have to juggle between classes, school, projects and trying to have a life outside of it all too. Get yourself the iStudiez Pro app which will help you be more organized with your work. You can forget about missing classes and unfinished work, and once you start with the program, it makes sure you don’t give in to disorganization. Use different color codes for all your subjects too.
