Mining For Gold Review

July 15th, 2009
by Sunny Pamma

Many People are not aware of this fact, but Shawn Casey originated as a real estate attorney before turning to internet marketing. He then became an author of the internet marketing book called Mining For Gold On The Internet. Mining For Gold On The Internet was written back in 2001, but a new version has become available to the public for $49.97.

After you buy the program called Mining For Gold, you find yourself in an easy profit strategies club which will run you about $39.95. Keep In mind that you are allowed to cancel anytime considering the first month is free. My best advice is be cautious with the kind of marketing strategy this is.

The primary resource that this program uses is called joint ventures. This includes negotiating deals between other sites placing ads and banners all for a certain fee. Which of course you must keep in mind, is for a commission on all of your sales. To some this is free advertising but keep in mind this only works if you are making all of your sales.

Joint Venture is not a new concept and has been one that has proven to be successful for many internet gurus. Clearly Shawn Casey has done well as he has claimed to have sold over 95,000 copies. This is great for him, but what does this do for the people that would like to create financial freedom for themselves.

With many hours of researching I have come to the conclusion that all the facts are misleading and lead to nothing but failure for your business. This system leaves you high and dry with a book and no mentoring, which is a big deal for those who are new to the internet.

There are tons of get rich quick schemes on the market. As you can tell you can still do your homework and be foiled into these fake promises. Take a look at what has been proven to work and create a steady income for people with real goals and real dreams.

Mining For Gold

Shawn Casey began his career as a real estate attorney who eventually turned his attention to internet marketing. He authored the book Mining for Gold On The Internet. He created this book in 2001 and since has written an updated version that you may obtain for $49.97.

The purchase of Mining For Gold places you in an easy profit strategies club that will cost you roughly $39.95. I like to make it clear to everyone that you are able to cancel anytime regarding your membership due tot e fact the first month is free. Also, do your homework and don’t be scammed by cheap marketing tactics like this used to suck you in.

The number 1 source this marketing system uses is called joint ventures. What you receive is a job that has you negotiating deals between numerous sites, placing ads and banners, which all leads to a fee charged to yourself. Paying for your commissions on each and every sale is included in your fee. Be aware that this is not a means of free advertising, that is only going to work if you are creating your own sales.

The Joint Venture business concept has been used by many internet guru’s that have reached much success. There is evidence for Shawn Casey to you as he has sold over 95,000 copies of his product. My biggest problem with this is, as he creates all the money where does that leave the independent business owners.

From my research his books are used to suck in readers with promises of teaching you the right tools for the trade. At the end of the day your stuck with a book, with no hands on help for all of those internet newbies.

There are tons of get rich quick schemes on the market. As you can tell you can still do your homework and be foiled into these fake promises. Take a look at what has been proven to work and create a steady income for people with real goals and real dreams.

Mary Kay Cosmetics Business Opportunity. Scam or Legit?

April 6th, 2009
by Christopher M. Castillo

Mary Kay Cosmetics and most Multi Level Marketing (MLM) companies say they offer the world’s greatest business opportunity which is based on selling products. Mary Kay Cosmetics, a $2 billion a year enterprise, where hundreds of products are sold through word-of-mouth advertising.

In my opinion, I believe that Mary Kay is another recruiting scheme in which they try to get their consultants to purchase a plethera of cosmetics and then resell them. Their hook is “how can you sell cosmetics if you don’t have an inventory to sell”?

Former Mary Kay Consultants, whom I happen to be friends with, say that the problem is that a consultant never has exactly what their customers need when the customer wants it. It is nearly impossible to predict at the level how many of each product you are going to need after the first few months. Hence, after the first few months, you end up making smaller orders at a much lower discount level on a more frequent basis. Furthermore, that lower discount level equates to a smaller profit margin for you.

What ends up happening quite often is that by the time the new consultants purchase their cosmetics, factor in the costs for promoting their business, delivering them or working with customers, it results in a small profit. Also, the requirements for purchases are greater than most people can meet, hence most of the consultants wind up with a lot of unsold goods. Hence, the vast majority of the products sold to the consultants are never resold to an actual customer. Is it because the consultants really don’t try to sell? Perhaps, but a majority factor is that Its because the products are of mediocre quality and are overpriced.

With the internet and large department stores in the mix, cheap substitutes for these cosmetics are everywhere and have similar if not better quality. Here’s something else to consider. Where are you going to find your new customers? Mary Kay urges their consultants to begin with their friends and family and then branch out from there to strangers. Even the most supportive family and friends only need so many cosmetics. Hence, after an initial order when everyone generously buys some items to help you get started, it will be many months until they need to replenish.

Then the next move is selling to strangers. You’ll try to rope in some of the people you meet through giving skin care classes into having a party and your friends and family will probably may also do that for you but their friends and family probably won’t. Ask yourself how many women you know are just desperate to get their friends together for a Mary Kay party, probably not too many.

Is Mary Kay Cosmetics a scam? I would say no. This critique about Mary Kay Cosmetics concludes that they are a lawful organization that allows individuals to generate a profit by selling to their friends, family and anyone they can get in front of to try to grow their business. If you enjoy recruiting friends and relatives and hosting home event parties than this may be right up your alley. Personally, I’ve completely avoided these kinds of programs altogether and have advised my friends and family as well as I have been able to make a comfortable living from the internet at home much more easily.

Dot Com at 200 mph; Nascar Discovers Ezine Articles

April 2nd, 2009
by Tim ONeill

Auto Racing has been a big part of my life for years. I am a huge fan. As any saturday night jockey will attest, it is time consuming and expensive, but I am still passionate about it. The older I get the more area’s I find that racing has relevance. I really like studying NASCAR from a marketing perpsecitve.

Does building a business from home in Dallas have anything to do with NASCAR. How about creating a home based business oportunity in Seattle? Yea, actually it does…the common denominator? Marketing. What about lead generation and creating mass appeal? Yep again. The big dog marketing folks at NASCAR have built an incredible brand, even if your not a fan of the racing the marketing behind the business model has merit.

Big deal, big marketing dollars in NASCAR. What does that have to do with generating leads for your internet home business in Las Vegas or help to replace a CEO income in Detroit? Fair question I think. If you are using article marketing as a part of your attraction marketing model, the power of NASCAR marketing can be leveraged.

Motor Sports meets geek. It doesnt get much better than this. A combination of the most valued entertainment vehicle with the best attraction marketing method is sure to drive traffic (so to speak).

Can I tease some of Nascars 200 mph traffic to come through your doors. If you have an online business home business in San Fransico or you are putting together a six figure income in Portland from home, you can. How? You can utilize an attraction marketing method called article marketing. Use Ezine Articles for one of your vendors in a new marketing campaign. You will see some demographics at Nascar that are similar with those of Ezine Articles.

I love everything about how Chris Knight CEO of Ezine Articles rolled this whole race team out. I am a contrarian so it suits me. Even if you dont agree with how things are being done you have to love the intestinal fortitude required to do what the Ezine Articles Team has done and HOW they have done it.

The Ezine Articles race team is.strange. Not in a negative way. Strange in a way that reflects the non-conformity thinking of a true entrepreneur. I can see the industry talking heads now. Racing insiders were stunned. Wait until the major press engine gets a hold of the website, the crew, and even the story behind the number. Nerds rule! I love it. I cant wait to see and hear the comments on this whole gig.

Can your internet homebased business in Tampa benefit from this news. Yep. There will be a big buzz take advantage of it. Dont wait! You can use attraction marketing as a leverage point. If you have an account at Ezine Articles be sure to use it a bunch in the next few weeks. If you dont have one…get one!

Who knows if this is a April Fools gig or not. It smacks of one. I quess we will find out in the next few days. Either way, I think its brilliant and a buzz will be created. Cudos Chris!

Ways for building subscriber lists

March 22nd, 2009
by Samo Yanezic

Building subscriber lists is an important part of building potential customers and keeping in touch with repeat customers. By streamlining your subscriber registration, you encourage them to sign up without giving out a lot of personal information.

A simple sign up box asking for their email is a way to let them feel like they arent giving up significant information and it makes it quick and easy. Once they have subscribed, there are ways you can give them incentive to give more if you need it because they are usually willing to provide it once they have experienced your sales newsletters.

Another way for building subscriber lists are coupons or discounts for your products, free reports or other incentives that your potential customers would be interested in. You have probably seen these on the free trial offers where you only have to pay shipping and handling, for example.

You can put opportunities to subscribe on every web page in the top left hand corner, which is the first place they will see. It keeps it in their mind while they are reading the other information and might trigger a response to become a subscriber. You can also swap with another newsletter site, where your offer will pop up when they subscribe to that site, and vice versa. Its a good way for both websites to build subscriber lists for customers when the products compliment each other.

You can always use the refer a friend option that allows you to build subscriber lists from existing customers. You can always add a discount or coupon for each friend the refer that might be interested. Add a registration box at the end of all of your emails or a link to your website that encourages registration for your sales newsletter. Use any opportunity to build subscriber lists while giving them some information they will be interested in.

Remember, you are not necessarily trying to sell them something the very first time they visit, because the chances of that are slim. But by getting them to sign up for future correspondence, it gives you a chance to keep presenting your products different ways. You are mainly trying to build familiarity, trust and credibility since people tend to buy from people they trust and feel like they know.

As you continue building subscriber lists, you are getting additional opportunities to get in touch with your prospects. You want to build subscriber lists that are based on quality leads such as recommendations, people who have visited your site or looked at some of your promotional material. You dont want to spend a lot of time working on prospects that dont have an interest or intend to purchase.

Remember, when you build subscriber lists, your goal should be to build your business, one customer at a time.

by Amir Shkolnik

The effects of the recession are hitting everybody these days. With a plan to alleviate spending and earn income, starting a small home business that uses the internet is a possibility. This can be easily done without having to leave your house and do the project all by yourself. MLM programs can be tricky in real life but having it online can have significant profits.

The step-by-step process is easy even with people having zero knowledge about the internet. The core idea is if you have a hobby, passion, or anything in particular that you are fond of doing can be your inspiration to put up an online business. Starting home business online requires a website. The next step is to understand and get a web hosting plan to put up your site that is related to your passion, this is vital for starters to easily focus on the other features of the site.

You can then formulate a product that is related to your hobby or passion. But even if you dont have a possible product to sell, you can still do the project, skip this step, and create the correct content of your site. You can slowly build the right keyword that encompasses all the aspects of your site to make a higher ranking on the search engine results page.

The next step is to make the site profitable. The main idea of the project is to earn income from advertisements. From the visitors of your site reading your content can have the possibility of clicking the ads once in a while will lead to residual income. Also, there is a variety of pay-per-click programs available online. For starters, you can use Google Adsense as your first PPC program.

Once you are established on your site, especially the basic needs, you can then proceed to maintain it. A vital tips it to add more features such as email autoresponders to handle customers or members, add forum script software, and if you still havent thought of your possible product to be sold on your site, you can apply for affiliate programs to let other people sell their products within your site which can also make money.

All of the process cant take overnight; you can then start to earn real money from time. The time frame can range to 6 months as the earliest. But the residual income will slowly rise once you have adhered to the rules of search engine optimization.

The plan can be very feasible, as you have your own time to slowly build your niche site. You can do them after work or you can just check on them from time to time. Once you get ample revenue, you can then outsource the maintenance work to online freelancers. This means that you can now set the site to autopilot, which then gives you more time for your family and friends or time to build another site that can bear more income.

Many people stray away from the idea of starting your own home business. It is one of the best projects recommended if you want to make money while having a real day job. The virtues needed to make this a reality are perseverance and patience, which is vital, while still building the site.

Amway. Scam or Legit? Is it really building your own business?

March 17th, 2009
by Christopher M. Castillo

Amway and most Multi Level Marketig (MLM) companies say they offer the world’s greatest business opportunity which is based on selling products. Amway is an enterprise where thousands of products are marketed to customers both internationally and domestic through word-of-mouth advertising. Each salesperson is told he or she will own their own company” and become an Independent Business Owner (IBO) that can buy products at wholesale prices and then sell them at a profit on a retail basis to friends and neighbors.

Almost no one actually earns a real profit from buying the MLM products and reselling them. Why you ask? Its simple, their products cost too much. Cheaper and similar products are available online, by mail or in local stores. The demand for these products are little to none. They tend to try to get people hooked on products that they dont currently have or need.

Also, MLM companies such as Amway authorize so many sales people that competition for retail selling is huge. The costs and time required for buying the goods, promoting the business, delivering them or working with customers outweigh the small profit earned. Also, the requirements for purchases are greater than most people can meet, hence most of the IBOs wind up with a lot of unsold goods.

These IBO’s are compensated with commissions based on the bulk of merchandise that is redistributed through their Amway account in person. The way that they operate is that every IBO has access to selling Amway products through their personal networks. As an IBO you are encouraged to purchase as many Amway products as you can as well as establish a client base and have them purchase the products to generate revenue for the organization and yourself.

Amway informs their BPOs that they can actually make more money if they will recruit other new sales people into the programs. Any purchases made by new recruits, will yield a bonus to their recruiter. Also, each person can earn multiple bonuses when their recruits get recruits. Each person can make money on multiple levels of new recruits.

Therefore, the promise that everyone can recruit a big downstream is also not true. Basic mathematics require that for one person to be at the top and most people must be at the bottom end. Only a tiny fraction can ever be at the position where the bonuses are paid, while the large majority of people will be at the bottom where they will be losing money.

There is a 2nd part to this trick. In order for the salespeople to “qualify” to receive the bonuses, they must meet a quota of buying. Hence, most people will continue to buy products monthly or pressure their recruits to also buy products while they try to recruit others. The initial investment will then grow each month that they remain in the program, thus their time and costs of recruiting also multiply and losses increase.

Amway a scam? I would say no. This critique about Amway concludes that they are a lawful organization that allows individuals to generate an income by selling to their friends, family and anyone they can get in front of to try to grow their business. If you enjoy recruiting friends and relatives, hosting home event parties, meetings and cold calling than this may be right up your alley.

Personally, I’ve completely avoided these types of pyramid-like programs altogether and have been able to make a comfortable living from the internet at home much more easily.

Blogging in Action – Make Money Blogging Product Reviews

March 6th, 2009
by Matt Murdock

Blogging in Action by the authors Shaun Taylor and Jared Conley provides the most in-depth package of all of the blogging products I have reviewed. The book, which consists of 4 parts, the first two sections begin with your basic blog setup and installation that are accompanied with step-by-step videos. The third section then talks about configuring your Wordpress blog, how to use and install themes and plug-ins.

The last half of the book covers writing content, and other chapters like how to write good posts, how to blog, and what kind of posts to write. The information here is incredible because it is something that is never mention in the other courses.

The final section of the book talks about defining your niche, building your brand, monetizing your blog, leveraging Web 2.0, and other advanced topics. What is different about this book compared to the others on blogging is that he shows you exactly what works best. For example he shows describes in detail how to style and format your AdSense and affiliate ads.

There is a lot of useful information in this 258-page e-book so my advice is once you learn a new technique then you must immediately implement it, and Shaun provides all the necessary steps to follow. Just take each advice one piece at a time.

Shaun Taylor is a well-respected blogger who been interviewed alongside other bloggers like Yaro Starak and Steve Pavilina.

Surprisingly, the bonuses for this course is actually useful, such as the keyword tool, security and backup software, and a large number of videos (over 40 of them). You get to learn by both reading and watching.

BLOGGING in Action Package Contains: – the core258-page Blogging in Action e-book – Keyword Sheriff research tool – WordPress Secure Pro – 4 Companion Videos – 15 QuickStart Videos – 3 bonus Videos on additional blogging topics – 10 Advanced WordPress Videos – 10 Internet and Blogging basics Videos – Complete Backup Pro script, guide, and Video – Preparing Your Blog for Traffic report – Million Dollar Copywriting Secrets e-book – Dominate the Web 2.0 Market e-book – Making Sense of Google AdSense e-book – Web 2.0 Sites Exposed e-book – Lifetime product updates – Live customer support

MY Concerns: The book, the whole package has a lot of material to cover, so it can be very daunting — but, dont let that stop you from getting what you want from it. Also, the 40+ videos are not downloadable and (nitpicking here) Shaun uses several of the same testimonials over and over in his sales page.

MEET Stated Objectives? — Yes: This is a complete learning package geared towards long-term bloggers.

EASE of Use: — Very Good: Blog installation requires some minimal technical skills. Expert WordPress has the easiest setup system.

CUSTOMER Support: — Excellent: Support is top-notch, with quick e-mail turnaround and live support staffed during extended business hours.

VALUE for Money: — $57: Excellent — This should be the foundation of any blogging course.

OVERALL Rating: — Very, Very Good: Some blogging newbies might find the package a bit overwhelming, but it’s written by a true blogging authority, so the content is sure to be as accurate as possible.
