The Make Natural Power Guide Reviewed

I am sure you have heard a lot about all guides out there that promise to show you step-by-step how to make your own home solar panels and wind generator. One of those guides happens to be “Make Natural Power”. But does it live up to its claims? And is it the your best option? Here is my experience with the guide.

The only thing I liked about Make Natural Power was its cover. Everything else was completely useless. On the outside it looked like it had all the features, but the advice was very limited and not that helpful.

Good Aspects:

You will be able to build a solar and wind power system, but it will take you a very long time, unless you have great technical skills.

Dislikes

* Poor drawings

Not only were the diagrams for both the solar and wind power instructions boring and dull, but they were badly labeled and and not even to scale.

* Useless solar power

The instructions were not easy to follow, and the illustrations did not help either. Because of this, the reader is required to figure things out on their own, resulting in a useless solar panel system, if it ever get finished.

* Incomplete maintenance instructions

Although we managed to build a working wind turbine, it only lasted for about 2 months until it completely seized. It turns out the the maintenance instructions forgot to show us how to weather-proof the wind turbine properly.

* Customer support is really slow

A lot of the time we had to contact customer service for assistance. But they were very slow to respond, and by the time they did reply we had either forgotten what the problem or had figured it out ourselves. On average, it will take over 5 days to get the answers you need.

Conclusion

Make Natural Power at home was obviously created by someone trying to copy Earth4Energy, and it shows in the guide. It was badly written, incomplete, and an absolute waste of our time.

Our Earth has been very generous with all the renewable sources of energy in so many different forms. So many corners of the planet have been fortunate to have used renewable power when mechanical electricity, powered by petroleum wasn’t readily available.

Alternative energy can be derived from the sun, wind, and the earth itself. All we have to do is to develop, generate, and utilize them from original form into another form wherein every one will benefit, especially now that most of the fuel that comes from fossil have been depleted and ruined.

Considering what was done the last century to turn fossil fuels into crude, the process of generating energy from alternative fuels is not as difficult. Then after it’s turned into crude, they refine into different types of gas, diesel, and petroleum blends. The entire process has taken a lot of work, and cost millions of dollars!

Although quite foreign to us to switch over to a new form of energy, it is necessary to help preserve our earth and improve our atmosphere. This will help us to continue the lifestyles we are used to, and have a little control over our global warming.

Solar electricity is a great renewable fuel, but very expensive. The biggest cost comes from buying all the needed equipment to transfer over to solar energy. The initial equipment alone will be a lot more expensive than our present power we generate mechanically. We need to learn to accept the price as we transition to the alternative energy. These changes are not to be expected to take place overnight. Although we do need to accept the changes, and the price it will cost to change.

Michael Faraday discovered how to generate electricity back in the 1800’s and it’s very today, as it was back then. With seven different ways to change energy into electrical energy the most common is electromagnetic induction. Electromagnetic induction happens when you transform kinetic energy into electricity. With some training, education, and skill we can put the basics of electricity to work for us.

When it comes to solar power, the photovoltaic technology is the most popular and fast growing. But since the solar panels for photovoltaic technology is very expensive, only few were able to afford its price and maintenance. This PV solar panel is known to have been used in rich countries like Japan, Germany, and some states in USA like California and New Jersey. If other countries will develop this technology into market which everyone can afford, then, within the next few years, the solar power will be available to places where it is more practical than using petroleum fuels.

Students of this generation are being taught in school to be aware of the depleting condition of the mother earth because of the global warming. From The Wind:

Wind energy has been used for thousands of years. Initially windmills were built to tow boats, grind flour and pump water. But as industry developed, wind turbines were put into operation to generate electric power.

Some people still imagine windmills as the ornate ones found in the Netherlands, or the small wind pumps on farmland, but wind power technology has come a long way. Today, massive windmills, better known as wind turbines can generate millions of watts of electric energy, and smaller ones can be used at home as a substitute to grid-tied power.

Solar Energy:

The sun is the most readily available form of energy there is, so we should be using it to a larger extent. And as technology advances, households are provided with a number of ways to harness the power of the sun. These ways include solar electricity, solar heaters, solar dryers and solar cookers.

Passive solar design, solar power and solar heating are some of the the best ways to reduce your power consumption at home – these systems need very little upkeep, and they are also great for the environment. Water Power:

The force of the water through these channels is extremely strong and capable of spinning large turbines, that then generate electric power. An example would be the Hoover Dam that is used primarily to supply Las Vegas with electricity. Over 90% of our renewable energy is generated with hydro-electric dams.

Many environmentalists and socialists are against hydro-electric dams, since they affect the natural forna and flora and can cause the forced removal of entire cities.

Geothermal Energy:

Geothermal power is typically produced in areas with ongoing volcanic activity, where magma is relatively close to the surface. One such area is Iceland, where a large proportion of its power is produced from volcanic geysers.

Where this lava comes into contact with water, it super heats it and causes large volumes of steam to burst to the surface through geysers. The pressure from this steam is diverted and passed through turbines to generate electricity. Once the steam has passed through it is sometimes cooled, turned back into water, which is then pumped back into the geyser to make more steam. This makes it everlasting cycle…

What comes to mind when you think of “green energy”? A huge piece of glass on the roof of your house? An old windmill with wires strung into the house? Green energy may bring to mind an energy option that seems crude and inefficient. When you look at the latest green energy technology, you find it takes a lot of money to pay a professional to install a system in your home. Green energy does not need to be expensive or new to be able to use it.

Green energy is any form of force that can be used repeatedly and never run out and does not harm the environment. Solar and wind energy is the most well known sources of green energy, but hydroelectric as well as geothermal are also sources of green energy. Take a closer look at the reasons these are green sources of energy.

Solar energy is still being developed; it is probably the most talked about form of green power. Hydroelectric energy can also be considered green, but only is some situations. Small-scale hydroelectric stations do not require significant changes to the landscape and ecological balances around the water source so they are considered green. Larger outfits however require the flooding of massive amounts of area to provide a large enough reservoir to provide sufficient water volume so they leave a lasting and detrimental impact on the earth, making them not green.

There are different forms of energy that are green and not used, as they were never developed. You will not need to pay as much money to the electric company if you have your own source of green power operating in your home. You can still stay connected to the light company and if your green power fails for any reason, you will still have power. This will help the earth stay cleaner in years to come.
