Zero Expectations (Part 2)

I only expect good things. Here is some proof of how the power of Expectation for Greater Things in Life and Therefore Get More of them works! I remember, way back when I was about fifteen years old, I was wearing my fathers cross. This crucifix was very dear to me because my dad had passed away just two years earlier.

Back then, if I recall correctly, I didnt hang with the right crowd, in fact there were some downright bad people that I use to hang-out with, back then. One day this boy asked if he could try on my cross. Since I thought he was my friend, I let him try it on then he said he had to go and make a phone call.

He was talking in a different language that I didnt understand. But, within minutes cars drove up and an older boy encountered this boy who was wearing my cross. He was threatening him and seemed angry, but I could sense, by their actions, that there was something really phony about this scenario.

These ruffians left a few minutes later and I walked up to the boy asking for my cross back. He had said the older guy tore it off my neck. I knew this wasnt true because I did not see it happen; but there was not much I could do. I was very mad about this, as I felt my father would have been very sad that I did not have it. But, this sadness I felt turned into a powerful desire to get it back. Everyone kept telling me forget it, forget it youll never see that again. But, my desire was so strong that I knew I was going to get it back, without a doubt.

A week passed, so I went to his house where his mother answered the door. I spoke to her and told her what had happened to me. She said there was nothing she could do. Obviously she was afraid of the boys her son hung with. But, she called me a few days later to come to her home. I went there and she had told me that her son had been very sick since he wore that cross. She returned it to me immediately. I was so enthralled that my fathers cross came back to me, and I knew it would. My mother could not believe what happened, but it only occurred because of my strong desire to get it back. I was not going to let anything take something that was dear from me.

If you want something, but you dont expect that youll get it, youre doing nothing more than wishful thinking with negative expectations, you dissipate positive energy. But, when you want it and you expect that youll receive it, its no longer wishful thinking. Then Universe does its work to get it to you.

Wrung Out Like a Washcloth? What Is The Effect of Emotional Stress?

A number of times I’ve written about stress and its effects on health. Both positive and negative situations create stressors, which are events and activities that stimulate emotion or a reaction in the body.

I’m aware of the impact stress has on our physical and mental selves. Our mind and body have unique functions but they also work together. Any impact to one part of us can have an impact elsewhere.

Mental stress can sneak up and cause maladies in the body, often you will not even know that emotional stress was the cause.

Your walking along and suddenly a car jumps the curb and comes right for you. You see it and in that moment the hormones adrenaline and cortisal are released so you muscles have the energy burst needed to react. You’re able to jump out of the way.

Additionally, blood moves from other parts of your body to your large muscle groups, the possibility for great strength and speed are the result. Breathing increases and your heart speeds in order to allow you to ‘fight or fly’.

These are instinctive reactions of the body that we’re grateful for when needed. These same bodily reactions are put into play when we encounter other stressors like the angry manager that yells at work or by a car that cuts you off on the highway.

Emotional stress results can be the same as the stress results caused by danger of bodily harm.

Occasional stress is harmless or even beneficial, it is chronic stress that can be problematic.

A build up in our muscles is the result of the ‘fight or flight’ reaction that goes nowhere. Side effects of this build up may include bruxing (teeth grinding,) which can lead to TMJ (temporomandibular joint pain); stomach ache, which can lead to ulcer; aches in your head, neck, or shoulders; and possibly a racing heart.

Psychological and emotional difficulties can also be a result of chronic stress. These difficulties can result in downheartedness, distemper, and apprehension.

Since many of us do not exercise enough to relieve the muscle tensions that build up, larger problems may result and a cycle can be created where you’re feeling ‘on edge’ all the time, something everyone understands.

Problems with sleep: snoring, apnea, and sleeplessness along with dietary problems like over-eating and obesity can be the outcome of ongoing feelings of anxiety and depression; drug and alcohol problems may follow. Over the long term these negative forces can result in life threatening conditions, heart problems, diabetes, or stroke.

Stress resulting from necessary activities: project deadlines, bills, car problems, or home repairs can be difficult or even impossible to avoid.

Addressing stress as it occurs is vitally important. Try to identify and manage stressors, exercises to promote relaxation may include flexibility and training on breathing to promote calmness. An exercise program is what I recommend first; if this is not enough, professionals can provide other solutions.

Weight Loss-How Do You Manage It Easily

Although fat is the source of vitality our body needs, there is a very essential difference between having enough or more than enough fat in the body. Unquestionably, watching movies at home with packets full of fat filled snacks on your lap but then, you have gained a lot of weight, even before the movie finishes. The you would be busy contemplating furiously as to the type of workouts you need to do to get those unbecoming love handles out of the way, so what are you meant to do? Love handles are those extra tires of flesh oozing out round your waistline near the brim of your pants which not only look bad but are unhealthy too, so you need to make them disappear. To get back in shape, start doing physical workouts regularly.

But then losing those surplus flaps is a daunting task requiring labor and discipline. Of course, this does not result in any harrowing experience as any physical work out should be enjoyable. You must be thinking of the best working out routine to remove the love handles. Since most of us relish home movies, why not do it while working out? Here are some exercises that you can do in front of your TV screen.

Aerobic exercises: this type of physical exercise burns fat fast so that you also lose those extra pounds and moreover if done with regularity, it can also help you keep up that perfect weight too. This might be a difficult proposal to do exercises while watching a movie, but try to discover a channel which shows aerobic workouts. This would not take too much of your time and it is fairly easy to execute even when you warm up for your next positions.

One of the most essential points to note here is that since the body is on a continuous process of storing fat, you can land up putting on immense amount of weight if you are not careful with your food habits especially during old age, when losing weight is a near-impossible task, hence it is always wise to start early with your exercise. The most advocated piece of advice thus is to change your life style with a well-balanced diet accompanied by the right kind of exercises, interspersed with the right time gap. The lesson of the lesson is that you must to be in top form in terms of body shape and overall health.

Could There Be a Link Between High Blood Pressure And Depression?

Someone asked me recently about depression treatment. He purchased the High Blood Pressure Program and jokingly asked if he could be depressed from it.

This is in fact no joke. Researches have shown direct link between high blood pressure and depression. Going both ways.

If you suffer from anxiety or chronic depression, you’re three times more likely to develop high blood pressure than if you don’t.

Also worth noting is that it is thought that people suffering from depression are more likely to engage in other contributors such as smoking, drinking and over eating. People suffering from depression are also less likely consistently treat hypertension.

This is however not the main cause of high blood pressure for those who suffer depression. Because even people who didn’t smoke, over eat or drink too much alcohol were more likely to develop hypertension.

Therefore, it is thought that hormonal changes due to the long term depression may be a factor in the increased blood pressure.

Drugs taken for depression can also lead to high blood pressure.

Given these factors, there is a link between depression and high blood pressure.

Now lets look at this from the other end. How high blood pressure causes depression.

The link here tends to lead back to the high blood pressure medication. The side effects clearly state on many medications: DEPRESSION.

This shows us clearly how often trying to solve one issue actually creates another.

So now we know that even if most people – like the person initially asking me the question – would not think there really was a connection between hypertension and depression. There really is a link.

Stress shows up again and again as at least a contributor if not the cause of many problems. It really is no surprise that hypertension and depression can also result from it.

Methods that can help lower blood pressure – and it doesn’t matter what causes it:

Don’t consume too much alcohol. You may even notice sever rise in blood pressure after only having one or two drinks. If that’s the case, you should drink at all.

Don’t smoke. Quick and simple. High blood pressure is only one of many bad things smoking does to you.

Eat well. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible to help the body improve stamina and control weight.

The Law Of Repulsion ” Don’t toss away your life

The Universe has many laws that people understand, but Im going to talk to you about the opposite of the Law of Attraction, the Secret, that everyone has been talking about for 4 years now. There is an unstated Law of Repulsion and since no one knew much about it, I figured Id discover it.

Now, Ive used it more than I want to think. I wished it didnt exist, but it does. And I have proof. I was born under a great star, according to the spacey astrologers, so why did I turn blue at birth and almost die. Get Rheumatic Fever, and repel health and get a life full of illnesses that would make my immune system struggle. While Im 63, still surviving and still teaching people to watch out for that Law of Repulsion. So, lets talk about the most important things that Ive repelled

Try my car keys. Before my wife put a small nail in the wall to hang the car keys, the car keys were under the influence of the law of repulsion. Believe it or not, before that nail by the door, Id lose them, repel them, and maybe theyd show up under a bureau, in the cats soccer game, in the big box on the shelf that I keep change in, by the TV, in the grocery bag, but more likely I repel them so far that they wind up at the bottom of the washing machine in the local laundry. No matter what I did to try to keep track of (a lighter form of say attracting) my keys, they were unconsciously repelled and sometimes I even found them in the ashtray of my locked car, dont ask ” its that repulsion law.

So, I decided to study the universal laws to see whether I would pass the Universal Bar Exam and see if Id reach the Limit and become a Guru of Universal Law.

I had already mastered the law of repulsion, car keys, job interviews (didnt get those jobs), premature expulsion of relationships (yikes, even before I scored a goal, and it still cost me a dinner!). Truly I was a master of the law of repulsion. I was blowing it and the law of repulsion had impacted my personal life. In business, I was in purchasing and sales, and back then I always told the clients or departments I worked with that deliveries would be on time. I knew the factories and they were ok, but, from knowing the industry and trucking business during blizzards, from years of experience ” I knew in my heart of hearts that things wouldnt always be on-time. A blizzard would come in and trucks got block in. I was beginning to attract things I feared, late deliveries at work. Yes, I attracted them. I attracted them with my thoughts. I was however a problem solver: I would fly to the factories, rent a big truck and drive south to where the roads were open, then east and back to the big apple ” I was a great problem solver, and driving through mid America was very relaxing, and I could listen to audios and empower my thoughts for success.

Thats when I thought what could I do if I made a big sum of money. So, I did it, and then I took a two month vacation and thought, what could I do with this extra money I have ” I invested it and a company and decided to run the company. I bought it, at age 26, without an accountant and lawyer, and it had problems. Big, big, problems for a little, little business. So, I lost the money, I watched it all go away I was repelling what I wanted the most — success. I repelled a live-in girl friend, lots of lovers, and wound up working an hourly job in Miami, then Bridgeport, and then I begged a friend to give me a chance with a sales position. And I proved that my mind could create, for me, the opportunity for me to be the money magnet non-stop for years and years.

Thats when I thought, what could I do if I made a big sum of money. And the greatest knowledge of all ” what I think, feel, see, and know in my heart that I want ” I get. Your heart is the magnetic power, and the emotion is desire, and the overall category is love. So, in truth ” all we need is love.

Later on in the series, well talk about getting hit by lightening while studying spiritual psychology which opened up my mind, and gave me the saying: Sometimes a man has to be struck by lightning to become open minded.

Marijuana, cocaine, speed – don’t got there because your foggy brain is useless during an exam. Set your voice mail. Set the mood with relaxing baroque music, get your reading and studying materials together – and get ready for a study experience.
