Top five Most Effective Anti Spyware Blockers of 2009

August 10th, 2009
by James Davis

An effective anti spyware blocker is an essential security application which should be installed on every personal computer. Top security firms like MacAfee and Symantec has reported recently that the number of spyware has been rising rapidly for the past few years and the trend is expected to continue in the future. This is why it is important you have an effective spyware blocker installed on your computer so that it ensures your computer does not become compromised and you also decrease the risk of identity theft and fraud.

Spyware Doctor is an awesome spyware blocker which I would definitely recommend. Firstly, it is very simple to use because of the simplicity of the design. This will be especially useful for computer users who have limited technical knowledge on the usage of computers. Spyware Doctor also has a high detection rate and it is able to remove anything which it detects effectively. You will find that some spyware blockers will be able to detect a rogue spyware but becomes totally useless when it comes to removing what it detected.

Malwarebyte Anti-Malware happens to be one of my most favorite security programs and there are many reasons for this. Although it may look dull design-wise, malwarebytes Anti-malware outperforms many other excellent spyware removal tool. It is able to detect the most prominent and subtle rogue spyware like AntivirusBEST. Its popularity is evident in forums where you will see many users discussing about their Malwarebytes results.

I like Lavasoft Ad-aware for many reasons. First off, it was one of the first spyware blocker to appear on the market. This means the developers would have learnt a lot of lessons on what are right and what is wrong. By making mistakes, they have figured out the minor problems of Lavasoft Ad-aware and were able to produce a product which has excelled for the past few years. I also believe Lavasoft has one of the best support system available to date. You have an official forum, live chat support and an excellent documentation to help guide you through the spyware removal tool and its processes.

Despite it being one of the newcomers of the spyware removal tools industry, VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware is indeed another excellent spyware blocker. There are many reasons for this. Firstly, it has one of the most modern spyware removal engines available. This means VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware will easily be able to remove the latest rogue spyware which circulate the internet. It also has a great support system like Spyware Doctor.

Spybot Search and Destroy is also an old boy of the Spyware industry. Its popularity has declined over the past few years as other excellent spyware blockers appeared in the market but it still remains to be one of the best options for a spyware removal tool because of its performance. Spybot search and Destroy is able to detect many rogue spyware which circulate the internet. However, it may not be able to detect the most recent spyware because its engine is slightly outdated.

Why We Use Spyware Cease Regularly

August 9th, 2009
by Jack Spencer

It was hard to describe exactly how happy I was when I brought my computer home from the store. I set it up and was so shocked at how quickly it ran in comparison with the old computer that was now on its way out of my home. As a matter of fact, I sat there opening and closing programs just because the computer was a responsive.

On the next day, I decided that I was going to download a program in order to make my computer a little bit more enjoyable. I began surfing the Internet looking for screensavers and the unfortunate thing is, I chose one that just so happened to have spyware bundled in with it. This was going to end up causing a lot of problems for me but I was surprised with how quickly those problems begin to happen and my inability to stop it.

The one spyware program that I had really did not affect my computer negatively but the problem was, it opened up a security loophole which allowed a number of other spyware programs to come in and affect my computer as well. The pop-up windows that resulted from all of the spyware programs running simultaneously was maddening and there were times when ever I could not even see the Windows underneath all of the pop ups that were occurring.

Something else that was unexpected happened and that was the fact that a computer virus took advantage of the open back door that was left by the spyware. It corrupted some of my files and I was unable to open some important programs that I needed for work. That was when I decided that I would go out and download some anti-spyware in order to see if I could take care of the problem in that way.

Although I had a lot of different choices, I decided to use spyware cease to clean my computer. I had read a review about this program which stated that it was able to take care of the problems that I was experiencing. I was surprised with how quickly it was able to take care of the problems and to completely clean the spyware off of my computer.

It was only after I got rid of the spyware that I learned exactly how damaging it can really be. I didn’t realize the fact that the reason it was called spyware is because sits on a computer and watches everything that goes on. Fortunately, I was so overwhelmed with all the spyware that was on the computer that it really didn’t have the opportunity to pick up any passwords or bank account information.

There is never a time that I have a computer that I am not running anti-spyware any longer. My spyware program of choice is spyware seek, simply because it was able to take care of my problems wherever I first ran into them and it continues to be able to take care of them now. My favorite thing about the program is the fact that it runs in the background and blocks any further attempt by spyware to infiltrate my computer. As long as they’re spyware on the loose, I’ll use this program on my PC.
